Vintage solid brass rare nautilus fossil bangle bracelet NWT, hand crafted from the 80s era, metal is solid brass, material is rare nautilus fossil(see info below), the bracelet has the original sticker on the inside and has minor imperfections from storage including a small scratch on one area(see last photo), interior diameter is about 2 3/4”.

Nautiluses are invertebrates, cephalopods and mollusks related to octopus, cuttlefish and squid. Of all the cephalopods, nautiluses are the only animal to have a visible shell. The chambered nautilus is a large mobile cephalopod which is called a “living fossil” and has been the subject of poetry, artwork, math and jewelry. These animals have been around for about 500 million years-even before dinosaurs.
