Vintage Murano Clown Book Ends/Book Holders Glass

I hesitate to say rare, but very, very, seldom do you see a pair of these awesome Murano Clowns available for sale outside of the ‘official’ Murano sites, etc., and we’ve never seen a vintage set from the 70’s! Period!

These guys are in awesome condition and extremely colorful, full of personality, charm, and the Maestro’s touch. We hesitated to even offer them for sale as we doubt we will ever see another set like these, but, if we kept all of the glass we loved, we would have no room for the couch, TV, computer, beds, family…you get the idea.

No chips, cracks, or breaks. There is a minute, teeny, roughish spot on the back of the head of the fellow in the blue shirt, but it is not a damage. It looks to be from the maker.

Can you imagine these guys holding up some cool graphic novels, comic books, books on clowns, etc.? How cool would that be!

Sold as a pair, the way they’ve been for decades.

Each one is about 8.5″ tall and together they weigh almost 5lbs.
