Hawkman #1 (1964) – VF 8.0 Comics

Hawkman 1 (1964 DC Comics) is the first appearance of Hawkman in his own title and the first appearance of Chac.  The first story has Hawkman and Hawkgirl comparing police techniques of Thanagar and Earth to see which is more effective.  The second story has Hawkman and Hawkgirl stopping a Mayan chief from trying to take over the world.  Both great stories!  And a brilliant cover by the one and only Murphy Anderson, as well!

This raw copy of Hawkman 1 is an estimated VF grade, with an absolutely vibrant cover!  The colors just pop!  There is effectively 1 significant defect, which is a tiny edge tear on the back cover.  This book looks like a NM copy from the front, and with the great colors, it presents exceptionally well!  If you’re a Hawkman or Hawkgirl fan, this is a must-have comic, and this is a beautiful, and affordable copy!
